Blog, Gym, Book, and More

Between ripping phone books and bending metal, Melody writes well-thought, research-based information on her blog while still finding time to pun.

This is not a book of "health" recipes with hard-to-find ingredients. It is a realistic, down-to-earth, factual guide to proper eating as a vegan with recipes that are enjoyable for all.

You are your own machine, and your body was made to move its own way.

This is not about what's trendy. This is about what works.

One of the best decisions I've made was to train with Melody. She's well informed and shares her vast knowledge in a way that is engaging and easy to apply. Her lack of ego is refreshing, especially in the fitness industry.

About four months ago I was looking for a trainer. Flash forward to today and I'm 20 pounds lighter, waaaayyyyy stronger and can't imagine life without working out with Melody. Her attention to detail and expertise is balanced by a great personality.

I found Melody about 2 1/2 years ago. She has really inspired me and transformed my life. She knows exactly how to tailor your workouts to your specific needs and strengths. She keeps each workout interesting and different.

Would YOU like to train with Melody?

In addition to an excellent success record creating fun, individualized training programs that help people to reach their weight loss, athletic performance, and muscle gain needs,  Melody is a CAMTC Certified Massage Therapist specializing in trigger point and myofascial release.

"Flawless Fitness' studio space is not what you might expect a personal training gym to look like. There are no cardio machines, strength machines or, really, machines of any kind. As a matter of fact, the only machines there are the people who come in and train—you are your own machine, and your body was made to move its own way.

This is not about what's trendy. This is about what works."

2018 End Of Year Posty Thingy

2018 was a roller coaster of a year and a very challenging one for me.

This year, I lost my beautiful Aunt Maxine, who was one of the people I loved most in the world.   She was vibrant and active and full of life and seeing her body consumed by cancer was excruciating. I miss her every day.

Social Media Medical Professionals

The internet is an amazing thing, connecting us to people and information we might never have accessed before. This is a great thing, but it can also be problematic. So if there is one piece of advice I can bestow upon you, it is this:

On Self Care

Someone recently asked what people do for self care, and I thought it was an important subject, so I figured, why not blog about it?

I have recently gotten way more into self care than I ever have in the past. It's so easy to forget yourself when you're constantly taking care of everyone else.
